Restrictions and limits on currency purchase and sale services in Ukraine

Currently, there are several key restrictions on currency transactions for individuals in Ukraine:

1. Cash withdrawals

In Ukraine:

up to 100,000 UAH from one account per day.

Abroad:

up to 12,500 UAH equivalent every 7 calendar days from accounts in hryvnia;
up to 100,000 UAH equivalent per day from accounts in foreign currency.

2. Currency purchase (limits are cumulative)

up to 50,000 UAH equivalent per month, in a current account and/or cash withdrawal;
up to 200,000 UAH equivalent per month, for placement in a deposit for a term of 3 months.

3. SWIFT-transfers

International transfers are only possible for payment for education or medical treatment in foreign countries.
